Religious congregations of Sisters and Brothers have long played an important role in the establishment and operation of Catholic schools in NSW and ACT. To ensure the continuation of the variety of traditions of Catholic schools founded by religious institutes, in recent years Ministerial Public Juridic Persons, or PJPs, have been approved under Canon Law. Each PJP-run school or college will reflect the vision and values of the founding congregation.

Working in a school now under a PJP you will find yourself deeply immersed in a spiritual mission and tradition which you are invited to actively share with those in your community. The spirit is literally in and on the walls of the buildings, and it is imbued in the leaders and staff and caught by the students as part of their education and formation.
